This small spatula in bamboo, is part of the ancient Japanese tradition of the Match tea preparation
The spatula serves to collect a small amount of powder tea needed to prepare a cup.
The dust is dosed in the bowl, then from the paiolo you take hot water and pour into the bowl, immediately, using the special whip in a cow (chasen) with quick movements of the wrist mix the tea until a slight foam is obtained, the so -called jade foam.
