How to avoid creating a hole inside the candle?
Let the candle burns until the entire surface of the wax has completely melted. Otherwise, the candle will create a hole in the middle and only partially burn. Make sure the melted wax is about 1 cm deep before turning off the flame.
We also recommend cut the wick if it is too long, to prevent the flame from becoming too large and that the candle burns unnecessarily. However, too short wick can prevent a large candle from melt up to the edges. So a correct length of the wick is important because a candle burns well. Empirical rule: a wider candle needs a wick longer than a smaller one.
