Tibetan bowls have been known for at least 4000 years. They were used for astrological and therapeutic purposes and also during secret rituals. Their vibration is said to eliminate tensions in the body and clean the atmosphere with negative energies to create a moment of peace. Each Tibetan bowl has a specific sound and each person has a special way of playing according to his character and mood. When you play different bowls at the same time, the resulting vibration multiplies the effect of their individual sounds.
