Abalone shell

It is a precious ritual object that is used as a bowl for smoke ceremonies. The internal part of the shell is covered with mother of pearl, from which its delicate iridescent reflections. It is said that it brings a feeling of protection, purity and balance.

Smoking with an abalone shell is like invoking the divine force of the fire and the spirit of the ocean during an energy cleaning.

California white sage

"Why should a man die while sage grows in his garden?" This phrase of a Treaty of the Schola Medica Salento (XII-XIII century) tells us a lot about this medicinal plant.

Its name derives from the Latin save - heal. It grows in the south-west of the United States, mainly in California, and in the north-west of Mexico.

Most of its properties are found in the leaves that absorb the energy of the sun to produce many essential oils. It emits a pleasant and relaxing perfume. Our white sage is naturally grown without fertilizers or pesticides.

How to use it

- Put some sand in the shell.

- Turn on the bundle with a match over the shell. Let the leaves burn for a few seconds, and then explode the flame. Be careful, the leaves can be easily swept away.

- Purification of people: use feather to guide smoking towards people who participate in the ritual: guide it to the head, back, arms and legs of each person.

- Cleaning of the places: cross each room with the shell and disperse the fragrant smoke with the feather following your intuition.

Remember that smudging is a ritual based on intention. With a pure heart and a noble aspiration, you will increase its effect.

- This incense is a tribute to usuzumi no Sakura, the pale gray cherry flower, the giant tree of over 1500 years that grows in the mountains of Gifu. Every spring bloom again as a miracle of life.

- Tokusen Sakura usuzumi has a sensual perfume based on cherry flowers, sandalwood and Japanese cypress oil that generates a feeling of calm and serenity.

- Use: turn on the end of a stick, blow the flame and put it in the marble sand that you put inside the shell.
