This plant belongs to the Fabaceae family, already known as legumes. It is a tree originally from Central America and the northern areas of South America. The seeds are commonly known as tonka beans; They are wrinkled and black, but inside they are smooth and brown in color. The perfume recalls that of vanilla, almonds, cinnamon and cloves. Tonka beans emanate a very sweet, spicy fragrance, similar to that of vanilla. Use
