Opoponax is a resin from the cortex of a shrub which is mainly found in the Middle East or Africa, especially in Somalia. His smell evokes that of myrrh, whose perfume is much more intense. Opoponax is also often nicknamed "Dolce Mirra". It is traditionally used as incense, to purify the air, but also for its relaxing or stimulating virtues. Opoponax promotes love, luck and strengthens spirituality.

To be used on an incense burning for charcoals, using our special sifting, in this way the resin will burn more slowly than when made directly on charcoal. You can also choose to mix the resin to other types of incense, in this case evaluate the size of the burning incense to be used well.
