The classic chai with a strong taste, interpreted using the excellent Ceylon tea and adding pure cocoa paste. Drink with a unique perfume of spicy tea and chocolate.
The abbreviation Chai stands for Masala Chai, literally spicy tea, that is, the original mode with which the Indians began to drink tea during English domination.
All the flavor of India expresses its essence in the special aroma and in the enveloping taste of this drink that is obtained by simmering for a long time in the sweetened milk black tea leaves mixed with spices.
The ways of preparing it are different, as well as the spices used according to the regions of India, but the flavor is complex, sweet and soft. The Indian tradition provides that it is consumed well loaded and spicy, resulting in an energy and stimulating drink
Ingredients: Ceylon black tea mixture with black pepper, cinnamon, carnation nails, cocoa grue (15.6%), ginger root, chocolate flakes 6.3% (sugar, cocoa pasta, cocoa butter, soy lecithin , vanilla aroma, powdered milk), cardamom seeds.
Chat tea can be enjoyed naturally with simple infusion in boiling water or with the addition of milk according to tradition.
INFUSION NORMAL: 3-5 minutes at 90º (2 teaspoons in 200ml of water)
Traditional infusion: Slowly bring 125ml of water to boiling +125ml of milk and simmer for a few minutes; Turn off the heat, add 3-5g of chai tea preparation and leave to infuse for 3-4 minutes. Finally filter the drink in a teapot and add brown sugar or honey. To make tea more intense and caramelized you can bring to the boil again (without passing it over) after filtered and sweetened it.
*It can be drunk hot or left to cool at room temperature.
