Green tea Genmaicha - green tea leaves and toasted rice

It is the unmistakable Japanese green tea for the combination of the leaves with rice (never) wholemeal (gen) toasted up to reach a beautiful brown color, while some beans explode by transforming into tiny white popcorn. The infusion spreads a hint of freshly cut grass to which the toasted rice undertone is married. The flavor is fresh and sweet with a seductive aftertaste of malt and hazelnut

INFUSION: 2 minutes to 70º

Dosage: 1 teaspoon in 200ml of water

Recommended use: pure. Suitable for being reinfusing

N.B. Infuse it in too hot water alters the taste and properties 

There are different varieties of green tea and each has its own optimal temperature parameters, quantity, infusion time, but the advice is always not to use too hot water, so as not to run the risk of deteriorating the active ingredients. 

Green tea is the tea that requires the shortest infusion time, for this reason the 2-3 minutes should not be exceeded: exceeding the indicated time the drink will result from the too bitter flavor.
